Recently the RedLine13 plugin for Jenkins was updated with an important change which affected the latest versions of Chrome and some other popular browsers. The specific issue dealt with increased new restrictions on cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) designed to keep users on the web safe. A detailed technical description can be found in the Chromium project documentation. The RedLine13 Jenkins plugin was a special case that relied on cross-origin communication to display load test information within the Jenkins user interface. If you have used Jenkins lately, this issue may have manifested as the inability to load the results page for a given test.
The change does not require any update to your Jenkins installation. Modifications have been applied as a hotfix on our web servers to use communication methods compliant with the new CORS changes. We have tested these fixes using the latest versions of FireFox and Chrome with both now exhibit full compatibility.
If you continue to experience issues, we recommend deleting any existing RedLine13 cookie from your browser. It is possible for older cookies to persist and interfere with the fix that we have made.
