AWS announced that they have created new AWS Regions in Hyderabad, Jakarta and Melbourne. So RedLine13 is announcing that you can now run RedLine13 load tests in Hyderabad, Jakarta and Melbourne. See the RedLine13 Release Notes.

These regions join other AWS Regions in Asia, including Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Seoul.

Configure AWS and RedLine13

Enable the regions in AWS for which regions your account can use https://docs.aws.amazon.com/accounts/latest/reference/manage-acct-regions.html.

In RedLine13 go to Account -> Settings
– Enable Region
– Configure default subnet and security group if you want.

Start using Hyderabad, Jakarta and Melbourne AWS Regions for Load Testing

To start testing in this new location (or in any location) log into your RedLine13 account. Then click on “Start New Test” and expand the “Advanced Cloud Options Tabs”. After that, simply select your preferred region.
