This was part of their plan to save money by moving from traditional data centers to AWS. They ran a comprehensive proof of concept with RedLine13 and then chose RedLine13.
RedLine13 made it so that they could move their load tests to the developers with RedLine13’s API capabilities. RedLine13 also added capabilities based on requests from Renaissance.
